Blue Panda Limited is the ‘data controller’ and as such is responsible for our users’ personal data. We will store and process your personal information in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
What kinds of information we collect
We may collect ‘personal identification information’ (data that can identify an individual) from our users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to the following; when users visit our site, place an order with us, fill out a website contact form, or contact us by email, post or telephone. We may also receive information via other activities, services, features or resources that we make available on our websites. A live chat feature would be an example of one of these other activities. Basically we collect information about you whenever you contact us or visit our websites.
If you place an order with us, we may ask you for further information that we need in order to process your order and deliver your goods.
This may include your name, company name, email address, postal address, phone number, delivery addresses and invoice address. We only ask for the relevant information that we need in order to fulfil an order, or deal with a question or request from a user.
We only collect personal identification information when our users voluntarily submit it. Our users can refuse to supply personally identification information, although this may prevent them from engaging in certain site related activities and from placing an order with us.
Our websites are not intended to be used by children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. Our customers are primarily other businesses, business owners and adult employees.
All users may also visit our site anonymously and without providing any personal information to us.
Why we might ask you for additional information for your decorated / branded goods
As we provide bespoke, customised products we may ask for extra information such as business names, individual logos, artwork and slogans, so that we can provide a personalised quote for your product branding, or so that we can begin processing your order. Any information that is supplied will be kept safe and secure, and will only be used for the purpose for which it was intended.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about users whenever they interact with our site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about users means of connection to our site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized, and other similar information.

How we use your information
- To process your order
We only use your information for the purpose for which it was given in the first place. This includes: to provide you with a customised quote, to brand your goods with the logo or design you supplied or that we designed for you, to invoice you, and to deliver your goods to you. We will never pass on your information to anyone else, unless we need to as part of fulfilling your order – e.g passing on your delivery address to our decorators. We have never sold or shared our customers’ information.
- Online Payments
If you choose to pay us by credit card we will send you a Paypal invoice. Please note that we never see or store any of your payment information.
- Customising your products with your logo, message or design
We may need to re-draw or change the size, design, or colours of your artwork as per your instructions, as we go through the design process together. Any artwork supplied to us will be stored securely and will only be used for the purpose for which it is intended.
- To help us provide better service
Storing your information after you contact us or place an order with us means that we can respond to your request, or contact you about your order if we need to – such as to return your call, or to keep you up to date with the progress of your order, and confirm your expected delivery date.
- General email contact & mailing lists
If a user decides to opt-in to our mailing list we may send them periodic emails containing company news, special offers etc.
- Record Keeping
Please note that we are required to keep invoicing records for 6 years in order to satisfy our legal and tax obligations as a Limited company.
How we protect your information
We store your data securely. We have physically secure locked storage facilities and digitally secure and protected software.
If you choose to make credit or debit card payment to us online we use Paypal which meets PCI DSS v3.2 Level 1 compliance. Paypal uses SSL encryption for transmission of data – in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users. No payment information, such as a credit card number, is ever viewed or stored by us.
Your right to be forgotten
If you have created an account with us and would subsequently like to delete this account – please contact us. We will action your request within 48 hours (in the working week) from receiving it. We will still need to retain customer invoices for 6 years, but we will remove your details from our mailing list (if you had previously subscribed to it).
Your right to access information about yourself
Users have the right to ask us for a copy of any data we hold about them. If you would like a copy of this please contact us. We will happily provide you with the information requested within 14 days. Please note that we can only provide you with information about yourself.
Your right to unsubscribe
If at any time a user would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, details about how to do this are provided at the bottom of each email. Users may also contact us via our site.
Sharing of information
We have never shared or sold our users personal information and we will never do this, unless a user has subscribed to our mailing list, in which case we may pass on their details to a third party provider in order to send them newsletters or surveys. We will only do this if a user has specifically stated that they do wish us to contact them.
Responsibilities of our Users
Any person that uses our site or provides us with information, personal or business related is responsible for ensuring they are permitted to pass on this information to us. Once we receive any information or personal details we will only use this in relation to the service we are providing, as requested by the user.
We provide a free artwork service to enable us to decorate the products we supply to you to the best possible standard. This may involve sourcing suitable fonts, and digitally hand re-drawing your logos and designs. All artwork files involved this process become the property of Blue Panda Limited, and will be held on file for future orders, unless you specifically request for this artwork to be deleted. Please note that any such artwork will only be used for the purpose for which it was generated.
Your acceptance of these terms
By using this site, and/or by placing an order with us, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our site or place an order with us. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed as your acceptance of those changes.
